Honk! JR. Ages 7-14

July 6th-10th

Honk! JR. is a heartwarming celebration of being different that is sure to delight audiences of all ages with its sparkling wit, unique charm and memorable score.  Witty and hilarious, but also deeply moving, Honk! JR. will treat your audiences to equal amounts of laughter and tears.

Ugly looks quite a bit different from his darling duckling brothers and sisters. The other animals on the farm are quick to notice and point this out, despite his mother's protective flapping. Feeling rather foul about himself, the little fowl finds himself on an adventure of self-discovery, all the while unknowingly outwitting a very hungry Cat. Along the way, Ugly meets a whole flock of unique characters and finds out being different is not a bad thing to be.

The Little Mermaid JR. Ages 9-15

July 20th-24th

Journey "under the sea" with Ariel and her aquatic friends in Disney's The Little Mermaid JR., adapted from Disney's Broadway production and the motion picture.

In a magical underwater kingdom, the beautiful young mermaid, Ariel, longs to leave her ocean home — and her fins — behind and live in the world above. But first, she'll have to defy her father, King Triton, make a deal with the evil sea witch, Ursula, and convince the handsome Prince Eric that she's the girl whose enchanting voice he's been seeking.

Written to flow seamlessly between land and sea, Disney's The Little Mermaid JR. provides plenty of opportunities to bring these locations to life through creative movement and configurations. The fantasy of being underwater means your entire cast and crew can let their imaginations run wild.

Bye Bye Birdie Youth Edition Ages 12-17

August 3rd-7th

Bye Bye Birdie is a lively musical comedy set in the late 1950s, centered on teen idol Conrad Birdie, whose sudden induction into the army sends his legions of screaming fans into a frenzy. His struggling songwriter and manager, Albert Peterson, and Albert’s overbearing secretary Rosie Alvarez see the draft as a golden publicity opportunity: Conrad will give one last televised kiss to an “average American girl” before shipping off to war.

That girl turns out to be Kim MacAfee, a small-town teenager whose family, boyfriend, and entire community are thrown into chaos by Conrad’s arrival. As excitement spirals, misunderstandings multiply, romances are tested, and the town is turned upside down by celebrity obsession. By the end, the characters learn to let go of illusions, grow up a little, and move forward. Featuring a tuneful high-energy score, plenty of great parts for kids, and a hilarious script, Bye Bye Birdie remains one of the most popular shows in schools across the country. Hit songs include “Put on a Happy Face,” “One Last Kiss,” “One Boy,” “A Lot of Livin’ to Do,” “Kids!” and “Rosie.”
